Club Memberships

Most of our club memberships consist of full player memberships, where players participate in the tryout process, and most players are then offered a place on one of our club teams for the full season.  An OKRVA membership is required for all player memberships.

Girls Teams (last updated 9/5/2020)

Players wanting to be members of our Girls Regional teams are expected to participate in the tryout process.  If offered a spot on a Girls team (and accepted), players will be expected to attend team practices (normally twice a week) and 6-8 tournaments during the club season.  Several tournaments will be out of the Tulsa metro area, and may have travel requirements which will add to out-of-pocket costs and time commitment.

The OC Volleyball Club offers two levels of Girls teams:  Elite and Select.  Both levels of teams will likely participate in tournaments in the "Regional" (OK/AR/KS, possibly MO/TX) area, but Elite teams will probably travel a little further (goal is < 4 hrs max) and may travel out-of-town more often than Select teams (goal is < 3 hours max).

Approximate costs for our Girls teams are normally $1,200-$2,500 per season, depending on the age group, size, and tournament needs of the team.  Fees are very cost-inclusive (i.e., coaching stipends and reimbursements, facility rentals, team registration and tournament fees, clinics and performance training as offered, and uniforms are covered by club fees).  Payment plans are available, including a discount if electing to pay club fees in full at the beginning.  Partial sponsorships may also be available.

Beach Volleyball Teams (last updated 4/25/2019)

Players wanting to be members of our Beach Volleyball program are asked to participate in our open court events.  Players joining our program will have the opportunity to tailor their practice schedule to best accommodate their needs and schedules.  Players also may tailor their tournament schedules as well.  Some tournaments will be out of the Tulsa metro area, which will add to out-of-pocket travel costs and time commitment.

Approximate costs for our Beach Volleyball programs are normally $160-$390 per season, depending on the program selected by the players.  Fees are somewhat cost-inclusive (i.e., coaching stipends and reimbursements, facility rentals, team registrations, and uniform use are covered by club fees), but please note that tournament entry fees are not normally covered by club fees for our beach volleyball programs).  Payment plans may be available, including discounts if payments are on time.  Partial sponsorships may also be available.

Practice Player Memberships (last updated 10/2/2020)

Players wanting to be members of our club as a Practice Player may or may not be asked to participate in the tryout process.  If offered a Practice Player membership, players may attend select team practices as assigned/approved by The OC during the club season.  They also may participate in clinics and other select programs offered by The OC as well.  Practice Player memberships are offered at the sole discretion of The OC.

Also, under certain circumstances, players may also be offered the opportunity to participate with one of our teams in a tournament on an "a-la-carte" basis.  Practice players, if they accept offers to play in a tournament, may be asked to pay a separate tournament fee, as well as expected to pay their share of other tournament out-of-pocket costs. There is also a limit (set at the sole discretion of the club) as to the number of tournaments in which a practice player may participate.

Approximate costs for a Practice Player membership is normally $350-$750 per season, depending on the age group and number of practices requested.  Fees cover pro-rated costs of coaching stipends, facility rentals, and clinics and performance training as offered.  Payment plans may be available, including discounts if payments are on time.

Youth Players (last updated 10/2/2018)

For younger players, The OC offers a youth volleyball program called The OC Littles.

This program is being designed to offer kids in the 5-10 range age-appropriate volleyball activities to both develop skills and knowledge of the sport, as well as a love for it.  With the goal of providing players the right placement and accommodations, players will have the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of volleyball at an early age.

Players will be introduced to many skills and concepts with a variety of modified drills and equipment specifically developed to help younger players start to learn how to play with good fundamentals.  Some game play will also be included with the program as a way to begin to use what they are learning in a game-type environment.
