Updates regarding the 2019-20 season are below.  We will update the page occasionally and as conditions warrant.

SANCTIONING BOARDS AND/OR FACILITIES UPDATES (recent updates in bold)

​

• USAV/OKRVA - As of May 13th, USAV has announced sanctioned activities may take place as soon as May 15th (with new requirements).  Additional info from USAV here.

• CRC/OPS - The Claremore Rec Center remains closed, with no formal announcement on an opening date or procedure (note - if we had to make an educated guess, it will follow the state's guidelines and timeline).  Facilities with Owasso PS (including 8th Grade Center) are expected to remain closed through the rest of the 2019-20 club season.

• GOVT - The state of Oklahoma has in place a re-opening plan with various phases.  However, local jurisdictions may elect to put more restrictive rules in place.  And, of course, federal guidelines will also need to be honored.

​

• THE OC LITTLES - The Spring 2020 session of The OC Littles has been cancelled.  Participants in the Spring 2020 session will be given the opportunity to register for one future Littles session with no program fee (future OKRVA membership fees may still be required.)

​

• BEACH VOLLEYBALL - Most details for our "official" beach volleyball program this summer are now available and registration is now open.  Remaining information is expected in a few days.

 

• FINANCIAL - The OC administrative staff has approved a preliminary plan for refunds and/or credits for activities (excluding The OC Littles) that are cancelled, not held, and/or rescheduled for dates our teams are unable to attend.  Most details are below.  Please note that plans are still subject to change as circumstances warrant.  We will also ask for your patience through this process.

• REFUNDS - We are returning partial refunds back to our members.  Funds will be distributed on a team-by-team basis (as each team had different schedules).

• CREDITS - Credits for future volleyball programs (2020 beach volleyball, 2020 summer camps/clinics, 2020-21 club volleyball) are also being included for most players/teams.

• 2020-21 TRYOUT FEE WAIVER - Players from our 2019-20 teams in good standing will have their 2020-21 tryout fees waived by The OC as a token of our appreciation to our members.
